Hello...welcome to Mrs. Harris' and Mrs. Harrell's Title I Reading and RTI room at North Wood R-4.
In our room we pull out Tier 2 and Tier 3 RTI students for small group instruction. We pull out 1st-5th grades, with 3rd, 4th and 5th receiving additional pull out time each day. We work with different strategies to help each child become better readers so they can excel in every subject in their class. Students are chosen for RTI pull out based on their test scores on several different assessments, such as DIBELS (K-5th); STAR reading (2nd-8th); AIMSWEB MAZE (3rd-8th); AIMSWEB fluency (6th-8th); and the Basic Reading Inventory. Each week we progress monitor each student in Tier 2 and Tier 3 to check their progress.
